January: No club meeting, but module participation at the train show in Puyallup. Operating sessions and Liar’s Club breakfasts also do meet.
February: Annual How-to Clinics where Club members make the presentations. Topics range from lively discussions on radio control systems, the differences within scales and the difference between scale and gauge and how-to presentations on casting, building freight and passenger cars, kit-bashing, re-powering locomotives. Depending on space availability, we also participate with our modules at the train show in Monroe.
March: Annual Business Meeting dedicated to our business needs. We’ll elect or re-elect the Company Brass, solicit volunteers for various department heads such as clinics coordinator, meeting coordinator, and newsletter editor when there are openings to fill, discuss and vote on dues and appropriations to SIGs, enjoy a pot-luck lunch, visit, and prepare to go forth and run trains.
April through September: Monthly meeting at a member’s home to run trains, eat, run trains, have a short business meeting with Show and Tell, and run trains; operating sessions, steam up, and Liar’s Club breakfasts. In August we participate with our modules at the Skagit County Fair in Mt Vernon.
October: Typically the first weekend in October we take the club modules to the train show in Lynden, WA.
December: Annual Christmas Party and Auction, operating sessions, and Liar’s Club breakfasts.
